Just waiting for the prince to sexually assault me (I really do like Disney princess movies and I find almost nothing wrong with the way they romanticize everything, so I want to know if you’re criticizing these movies or just making fun of them. Before you ask, there’s a difference between the two (for me). I mean, I’ll continue to follow this blog regardless of your answer because I’m old enough to consider these hilarious, but I wanted you to know that I’m not following because I think the princesses are bad role models for children. :))

Good question! I think it’s a little bit of both, as in these are meant to be taken at face value and be humorous but I could probably write an essay on all of them about the actual implications. I’m a fan of Disney and grew up on these movies, but just because you like something doesn’t mean you can’t criticize it.
